Victor Osimhen was once again the star of the show as Galatasaray secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Nigerian striker demonstrated his composure and skill by converting a decisive penalty, taking his tally to 12 goals this season. The win at Rams Park, Istanbul, strengthened Galatasaray’s position at the top of the league with 54 points from 20 matches.

Konyaspor gave a spirited performance, making the match a hard-fought contest. However, Osimhen’s unflinching calmness under pressure proved pivotal as Galatasaray extended their unbeaten run in the league this season.

The performance didn’t go unnoticed by Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface, who took to social media to praise his compatriot. After Osimhen shared a celebratory post on Instagram, Boniface playfully commented, “Them never see anything,” hinting that Osimhen’s current form is only the beginning of his brilliance.

Osimhen’s impact on Galatasaray’s campaign has been immense, with five of his last six goals coming from penalties. His ability to deliver in crucial moments has not only cemented his place as a key player for the Turkish giants but has also drawn admiration from fellow professionals like Boniface.

The bond between the two Nigerian strikers is well known, with both pushing each other to greater heights in European football. As Boniface works his way back to action after a recent delay, his admiration for Osimhen’s exploits remains evident.

Galatasaray’s faithful will hope Osimhen continues his impressive run as they march towards potential league glory. For now, Boniface’s words serve as a reminder that the best of Osimhen may still be yet to come.
