Oyo Speaker Provides Empowerment to Over 1,000 Constituents

Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, In the spirit of the season, empowered over 1,000 constituents with a cash gift of N20,000 each.

The event, which took place at the Ori-Oke family residence in Eruwa, Ibarapa East State Constituency, was part of Ogundoyin’s ongoing effort to appreciate the unwavering support of his constituents and promote their economic well-being.

The 1,000 beneficiaries, carefully selected from all 10 wards in the constituency, expressed overwhelming joy as they received the financial support.

During the presentation, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the businesses of his constituents.

He assured them of his continued dedication to their welfare and promised high-quality representation.

“Today’s program is a testament to my tireless efforts to uplift my constituents and promote economic growth in the constituency.

This initiative is not an isolated effort; it is part of a continuous program,” Ogundoyin said.

“I have consistently shown my commitment to the development of Ibarapa East State Constituency by supporting local businesses and boosting morale.

This is my humble way of giving back to my community,” he states.

The Speaker also highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration among members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the constituency.

He encouraged his constituents to continue supporting the current administration, assuring them that their efforts would bring positive outcomes.

The program was attended by a host of dignitaries, including party and ward executive officers, party chieftains, and numerous PDP supporters from Ibarapa East State Constituency.

It is worth noting that, in July 2024, Ogundoyin empowered 300 artisans, traders, and farmers with N50,000 each to support their businesses.

Additionally, 100 students received N20,000 each, while 110 youths and other community members were given N25,000 each.
