Galatasaray have terminated their loan agreement with AC Milan for Álvaro Morata, receiving €5 million in compensation to allow the striker to complete a move to Como.
The deal brings to an end one of the longest-running sagas of the transfer market, which began when Morata effectively agreed to join Como in early June.
Galatasaray had initially secured Morata on a one-year loan from Milan in January, worth €6 million, with an obligation to buy for a further €8 million in January 2026. However, the Turkish club demanded compensation to cut the arrangement short by six months.
As part of the resolution, Morata also agreed to forego €651,562 in wages he was owed, underlining his determination to finalise the Como switch.
With the agreement now in place, the Spain international is set to join Como on a loan deal with an obligation to buy for €10 million.
Milan had signed the striker from Atlético Madrid in July 2024 for €13 million.
