The Nigerian Correctional Service, appointed Ajibogun Olatubosun as the new Controller for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command.

The appointment follows a recent reshuffling of senior officers across the country.

This was confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Command’s spokesperson, Adamu Duza.

Olatubosun succeeds Controller Usman, who has been redeployed to Maiduguri as the Acting Zonal Coordinator for Zone ‘R’.

During the official handover ceremony on Tuesday, Usman commended the FCT Command personnel for their dedication and expressed confidence in their ability to effectively handle their duties.

He also expressed optimism that his successor would continue to drive the Command’s progress.

In his remarks, Olatubosun thanked God for the opportunity to serve in his new role and called for his predecessor’s continued cooperation to ensure the success of the Command.

He also assured the officers of his full support, emphasizing a collaborative approach to addressing challenges and advancing the service.

Olatubosun reiterated his commitment to maintaining discipline within the Command, stating a firm zero-tolerance policy for indiscipline or misconduct.

Prior to his new appointment, Olatubosun served as the Controller of Planning, Research, and Statistics at the Service Headquarters in Abuja.
