US President Donald Trump has declared that the United States currently possesses the strongest military in the world, emphasizing its unmatched nuclear capabilities.
Speaking at the American Business Forum in Miami, Florida, on Wednesday, Trump said, “I rebuilt the military. We have the strongest military by far in the world. We make the best equipment, the best missiles, the best rockets, the best everything.”
The president further underscored America’s nuclear dominance, noting that significant upgrades had been made to its arsenal. “We redid our nuclear. We’re the number one nuclear power, which I hate to admit because it’s so horrible. It’s such a horrible situation if it ever has to be used,” he stated.
Comparing the United States to other global powers, Trump said, “Russia’s second, China’s a distant third, but they’ll catch us within four or five years. They want to catch us and they’ll be able to catch us.”
He also hinted at possible future talks on global disarmament, adding, “We’re maybe working on a plan to denuclearize the three of us. We’ll see if that works.”
Trump’s remarks come amid renewed international discussions about nuclear arms control and global security.
