Zamfara State Approves End-of-Year Bonus for Workers and Pensioners

The Zamfara State Government, reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of public servants and pensioners by approving an end-of-year bonus as part of efforts to promote good governance and employee motivation.

In a circular issued by the Head of Service, Ahmad Aliyu Liman, Governor Dauda Lawal approved a 13th-month salary, amounting to 30% of basic pay, as a 2024 end-of-year bonus.

This benefit will extend to both active public servants and pensioners, highlighting the administration’s inclusive approach to welfare.

The circular stated: “In its constant drive to ensure good governance and a secure environment, the State Executive Governor Dauda Lawal, PhD, has graciously approved the payment of the 13th-month pay, equivalent to 30% of basic salary, as an End-of-Year 2024 Bonus.

This generous gesture extends not only to the serving workforce but also to our pensioners, reflecting a spirit of solidarity.”

Governor Lawal called on public servants to reciprocate this gesture by demonstrating greater commitment, diligence, and efficiency in their duties.

“All public servants are urged to redouble their efforts and showcase their dedication to the government and the people of Zamfara State.

Hard work, productivity, and efficient service delivery are essential to advancing the Rescue Mission agenda of this administration,” the governor emphasized.

The governor expressed confidence that the workforce’s cooperation and commitment would contribute significantly to creating a secure and prosperous Zamfara State.
