President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and optimistic about the nation’s future, emphasizing that a new chapter has begun for the country.

In a statement shared on his official X account, the President made this appeal shortly after presenting the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday.

The proposed budget, tagged “Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity,” outlines strategies aimed at stabilizing the economy, fostering inclusive growth, and promoting an equitable business environment.

President Tinubu urged citizens to embrace this moment as an opportunity to take decisive actions, signaling an end to a period of lamentation.

He stressed the importance of private sector investments and effective execution of government policies by civil servants.

The 2025 budget proposal, according to the President, is designed to lay the foundation for peace, prosperity, and hope, paving the way for a Nigeria where citizens can work, dream, and thrive in safety.

Reaffirming his commitment to leading this charge, Tinubu assured Nigerians that the administration remains resolute in its efforts to achieve the envisioned transformation.
