President Bola Tinubu has officially submitted the names of three nominees for Resident Electoral Commissioners (REC) to the Senate for approval.
The Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, read the correspondence during Tuesday’s plenary session.
Following the submission, the request was referred to the Senate Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which has been tasked with reporting back at the earliest opportunity.
