Tinubu Pledges to Bolster Nigeria-Germany Relations

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fosteringoq stronger ties between Nigeria and Germany.

During a bilateral meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the State House in Abuja on Wednesday, Tinubu outlined his vision for a partnership that delivers mutual benefits for both nations.

The Nigerian leader highlighted his government’s ongoing economic reforms aimed at creating a favorable environment for foreign investments.

He emphasized Nigeria’s openness to international business partnerships and the readiness of both Nigerian and German stakeholders to deepen collaboration.

Tinubu pointed to earlier engagements between policymakers and business leaders from both countries as evidence of a shared eagerness to strengthen ties.

He stressed his administration’s focus on enhancing business rankings and building frameworks that ensure mutual prosperity.

He also expressed optimism about improving people-to-people connections and facilitating economic opportunities at the government level, underscoring the importance of fostering a fulfilling and rewarding relationship between the two nations.

On his part, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier commended Nigeria’s economic reforms and praised Tinubu’s leadership during his address.

He acknowledged the resilience of the Nigerian people in navigating economic challenges and pledged Germany’s support to further bolster the nation’s economy.

Drawing on Germany’s own experiences with economic crises, Steinmeier highlighted the importance of courage and perseverance in achieving transformation.

He assured Tinubu of Germany’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s reform agenda.

The meeting concluded with both leaders expressing a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting opportunities for mutual growth and prosperity.
