President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students—Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli—for their stellar achievements at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.

The young champions emerged as global winners in English language communication and debate categories, distinguishing themselves among their international peers.

In a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, 17-year-old Nafisa was named the overall best in English language skills, 15-year-old Rukayya emerged the best in debate, while Hadiza received the Outstanding Talent Award, clinching the gold medal in her category.

President Tinubu lauded their accomplishments, describing them as shining examples of Nigeria’s boundless potential.

“These exceptional young Nigerians have done the nation proud. They demonstrate that our future is much brighter with many of our youth as repositories of excellence,” the President said.

He also extended praise to the schools and states that nurtured the champions, noting that their success is a reflection of the quality and promise of Nigeria’s educational system.

According to Onanuga, “President Tinubu believes that education is a critical element for national development; hence, his administration’s significant investment in the sector and the removal of financial barriers for indigent Nigerians seeking higher education through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).”

The President encouraged Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to remain focused in their academic pursuits and wished them greater accomplishments in the future.
