President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, announced new appointments for key leadership roles across 42 federal organizations, including board chairpersons and other strategic positions.

Among the appointees, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, has been named Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.

Similarly, APC National Secretary, Senator Bashiru Ajibola, is now the Chairman of the National Sugar Development Council (NSDC).

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed these appointments in a statement on Friday.

The President has also filled positions such as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation and the Director-General of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI).

Other prominent appointments include:
“Sulaiman Argungu”: Chairman, Nigeria Bulk Electricity Trading Company
“Magnus Abe”: Chairman, National Agency for the Great Green Wall
“Hillad Eta”: Chairman, National Youth Service Corps

President Tinubu emphasized that these board chairpersons are non-executive and urged them to refrain from interfering with the management of the organizations.
