A 17-year-old boy near Milan has confessed to the brutal murders of his parents and younger brother, just hours after the family celebrated the father’s 51st birthday.

The heinous act occurred just hours after the family had gathered to celebrate the father’s 51st birthday, plunging the small community of Paderno Dugnano into shock and disbelief.

Initially, the teenager provided a fabricated story to the authorities.

He claimed that he witnessed his father, Fabio Chiarioni, kill his mother, Daniela Albano, and his 12-year-old brother.

The teen alleged that in self-defense, he then attacked and killed his father.

However, inconsistencies in his account and the absence of physical injuries led the police to question the validity of his narrative.

During a subsequent interrogation, the boy abandoned his initial story and admitted to committing the murders.

His confession revealed a chilling and tragic motive. The teenager expressed feelings of alienation and oppression within his family. “There is no real reason why I killed them,” he reportedly stated, “I felt like a foreign body in my family. Oppressed.

I thought that by killing them all, I would free myself from this discomfort.”

The gruesome details of the crime emerged as the teenager recounted the events.

He began by attacking his younger brother while he was asleep, repeatedly stabbing him with a kitchen knife.

He then turned the weapon on his parents, who were in the same room, ending their lives as well.

After committing the murders, the teenager called emergency services, initially reporting that he had killed his father.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the lifeless bodies of the parents and the younger brother in the brother’s bedroom.

The 17-year-old was discovered outside, covered in blood, still holding the murder weapon.

The brutal crime has left the community in Paderno Dugnano reeling, as neighbors and acquaintances of the family described them as peaceful and well-respected.

The shockwaves from this tragedy continue to reverberate through the tight-knit neighborhood.

The investigation, led by Milan juvenile prosecutor Sabrina Ditaranto, is ongoing as authorities seek to fully understand the reasons behind this horrific act.

“It will be necessary to wait a long time before explaining such an atrocious gesture,” judicial sources commented, underscoring the profound complexity of the case.
