Suspected Bandits Attack Kwara Community, Kill Three
Suspected bandits have attacked a Police Mobile Force (PMF) camp in Tenebo community, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, killing at least three officers.
The early morning assault, which occurred on Saturday, reportedly threw the community into panic as gunfire echoed across the area.
According to sources, the attackers stormed the camp unexpectedly, overpowering officers on duty before carrying out the deadly operation.
Two other officers were said to have sustained injuries during the attack, further highlighting the intensity of the assault on the security facility.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ejide Tohun, said more details would be provided later.
The attack underscores growing security concerns in parts of Kwara State, where communities and security formations have increasingly come under threat from armed groups.
