Spain’s national team coach, Luis de la Fuente, has unveiled the squad for the UEFA Nations League quarter-final, set to take place on March 14, 2025.
With a balanced mix of experienced players and emerging talents, La Roja aim to secure their place in the next stage of the tournament.
The squad features three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, and nine forwards, providing depth in every position. In goal, David Raya, Unai Simón, and Álex Remiro have been selected to compete for the starting spot.
The defensive lineup includes a blend of youth and experience, with Pedro Porro, Óscar Mingueza, Robin Le Normand, Pau Cubarsí, Iñigo Martínez, Raul Asencio, Álex Grimaldo, and Marc Cucurella forming the backline.
In midfield, Pedri leads a talented group alongside Martín Zubimendi, Marc Casadó, Fabián Ruiz, Mikel Merino, and Álex Baena, offering creativity and stability in the center of the pitch.
The attacking department boasts an exciting mix of seasoned forwards and rising stars. Álvaro Morata brings leadership to the frontline, supported by young prodigy Lamine Yamal, along with Nico Williams, Ferran Torres, Yeremy Pino, Dani Olmo, Ayoze Pérez, Bryan Zaragoza, Samu Omorodion, and Mikel Oyarzabal.
