Vice-President Kashim Shettima, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Governor Umar Dikko Radda were among the notable figures who attended the funeral of the mother of former President Umar Musa Yar’Adua.
Also in attendance were Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Datti Baba Ahmed, Senator Ahmad Lawan, former Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Senator Adamu Aleiro, business mogul Dahiru Mangal, and the emirs of Katsina and Daura.
The funeral prayer for the late Dada Yar’Adua took place at Katsina township stadium in the Yar’Adua quarters, led by Sheikh Aminu Yammawa.
