Real Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for Rodrygo Goes as the Brazilian forward endures one of the most difficult spells of his career, with his long-standing “untransferable” status no longer in place.
Rodrygo’s struggles deepened after the weekend’s 1-1 draw with Girona, a result that extended his barren run to 30 official matches without a goal—a joint club record for the longest drought, matching Mariano Díaz.
According to a report by Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, the 24-year-old has failed to regain a meaningful place in Xabi Alonso’s plans, and with no improvement in form, Real Madrid will be open to offers either in January or the summer of 2026.
The club had already stripped him of his untouchable status during the summer, but Rodrygo opted to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu despite firm interest from Premier League sides.
Now, with his place in Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad increasingly uncertain, the forward may also reassess his future. Sources suggest he could consider a summer move as early as the winter window.
Rodrygo has featured in 15 matches across all competitions this season, registering three assists but no goals. Only four of those appearances have been starts, with a total of just 434 minutes played—highlighting his reduced role under Alonso.
