Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been honoured as Sportsman of the Year at the 2025 GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards.
The 26-year-old received the accolade at a high-profile ceremony on Wednesday night, recognising his exceptional influence at Galatasaray last season. Osimhen scored 37 goals and registered seven assists in 41 appearances, guiding the club to the league title and convincing the Turkish champions to seal a €75 million permanent move from Napoli — a new national transfer record.
He has continued his explosive form this campaign, with 11 goals in 14 matches already for the Istanbul side.
