Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has called on women to uplift one another, emphasizing the importance of collective empowerment.
In her message marking this year’s International Women’s Day, she celebrated the resilience and achievements of women and girls across Nigeria and beyond. She highlighted the significance of the event’s theme, “For All Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” as a compelling reminder to strengthen efforts toward building an inclusive society where women and girls can thrive, free from discrimination and limitations.
“It is time for women to make this happen,” Tinubu stated, urging women to take action, stand up, and play their part in fostering a more equitable world.
