Nearly two million undocumented immigrants in the United States have been marked for deportation, according to data from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The list, compiled by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), includes a significant number of individuals from Nigeria, Ghana, and other African nations.
The deportation effort aligns with the Trump administration’s ongoing crackdown on illegal immigration.
A document obtained by Fox News reveals that as of November 24, 2024, approximately 1,445,549 non-citizens were listed on ICE’s non-detained docket with final orders of removal.
Among African nations, Somalia has the highest number of individuals facing deportation, with 4,090 names on the list.
Nigeria follows closely with 3,690, while Ghana ranks third with 3,228. Mexico, however, tops the global list with 252,044 individuals identified for removal.
The US government has urged affected countries to cooperate by accepting the return of their nationals as deportation proceedings continue.
