The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to eradicating insecurity in the South East region. Speaking during an operational visit to Enugu State, Badaru emphasized that the government is determined to tackle security challenges under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the Defence Ministry’s spokesperson, Henshaw Ogbuike, Badaru highlighted the importance of a secure environment for fostering business growth and ensuring peace. “There is a renewed determination to intensify our efforts against all forms of insecurity under President Tinubu’s leadership,” Badaru stated.
