Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar visited Bauchi State to pay his respects following the death of the esteemed Emir of Ningi, Dr. Yunusa Danyaya.
The Emir passed away last Saturday after battling a long illness.
Upon his arrival, Atiku was graciously welcomed by Bauchi State’s Deputy Governor, HE Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau (Madugun Katagum), Senator Abdul Ningi (who represents Bauchi Central), along with other notable figures.
In a statement from his media advisor, AbdulRasheed Shehu, Atiku referred to the late Emir as a “man of peace.” He conveyed his profound sorrow over the loss and offered sincere prayers for Almighty Allah to grant the Emir Aljanna Firdausi, while also providing comfort to the emirate during this difficult time
