President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently attending the 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), taking place at the State House in Abuja.
The high-level meeting began at approximately 2:10 p.m. and has drawn key figures from across the party’s leadership, including serving and former governors, National Assembly leaders, and other senior party stakeholders.
Among those present alongside President Tinubu are Vice President Kashim Shettima; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas; and Deputy Speaker, Hon. Benjamin Kalu.
Also in attendance are the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma; Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; as well as several other state governors.
Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the acting National Chairman of the party, Ali Bukar Dalori, were also present at the meeting.
According to the agenda circulated to attendees, one of the major highlights of the gathering will be the swearing-in of a new national chairman for the party.
