The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has emerged victorious in his Esan Central Local Government Area, securing 10,990 votes against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Asue Ighodalo, who received 8,618 votes.
Despite the win, the PDP has rejected the results, citing irregularities as the reason for their stance, according to their agent, Osaigbovi.
