Vice President Kashim Shettima presided over the 146th meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC), on Thursday at the State House in Abuja.
The session commenced at 12:06 p.m. following Shettima’s arrival at the Council Chamber.
According to reports, this meeting is likely the final NEC gathering for 2024.
The agenda includes deliberations on critical issues, such as the state’s report on the establishment of State Police and planning for the 2025 fiscal year.
In attendance were state governors, some deputy governors, and members of President Bola Tinubu’s economic team, underscoring the importance of the discussions.
