Abdulrahman Lekki, Aide To Sanwo-Olu, Passes Away

The Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Scholarship Board, Abdulrahman Lekki, has sadly passed away.

The news was announced by Tokunbo Wahab, the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, in a statement posted on X.com on Wednesday.

“Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of a dear friend and brother, Abdulrahman Lekki #FollowLekki, who served with dedication as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Scholarship Board.

His unwavering commitment to empowering countless young minds through education and his deep compassion for the community will be profoundly missed,” Wahab wrote.

He further emphasized, “Abdulrahman was more than a colleague; he was a pillar of support, a guiding light, and a friend who brought warmth, humility, and kindness to everyone around him.

His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the many he inspired to reach their highest potential.”

Wahab concluded by extending heartfelt condolences to Lekki’s family, friends, and loved ones, saying, “In this time of grief, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.

May Allah grant him eternal peace and comfort to those who mourn his passing.”

The cause of Lekki’s death has not yet been disclosed.
