Seyi Tinubu, youth advocate and son of President Bola Tinubu, has donated over ₦500 million to support flood victims in Borno State.

During his visit to Maiduguri on Friday, Seyi, joined by his brother, friends, and associates, made the significant contribution on behalf of his network.

Addressing Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum and other officials, Seyi emphasized that the donation marks the start of an ongoing relief effort aimed at supporting young people impacted by the floods.

He assured that aid would continue until Maiduguri and the entire Borno State recover. His visit followed President Tinubu’s earlier trip to the state to express solidarity with flood victims.

Commending the resilience of Borno’s people, despite previous security challenges, Seyi expressed optimism that the current crisis would also be overcome, leaving the state stronger.

He stressed that the initiative was not just a family-driven effort but a collective response from Nigerian youth to provide relief.

The donation included essential food supplies such as rice, maize, flour, and spaghetti, as well as critical household items like mosquito nets, mattresses, sanitary pads, and blankets.

Additionally, medical supplies intended for 50,000 people were provided to address urgent health issues like malaria, hypertension, and diabetes.

Seyi extended his gratitude to Governor Zulum for his leadership during the crisis and reassured Borno residents that they were not alone, with Nigerian youth standing in solidarity. He expressed hope that the relief efforts would offer comfort and aid in the rebuilding process.

Prominent figures, including logistics expert Chidi and renowned aviator Isaac Balami, praised Seyi’s commitment to supporting young Nigerians and his compassion for the affected communities.
