President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for a three-nation diplomatic visit to France, Kenya, and Rwanda as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s international partnerships and economic engagement.
The trip, announced by the Presidency, will begin with a stop in France before the President proceeds to Nairobi, Kenya, and later Kigali, Rwanda, for high-level meetings and summits. According to the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu is expected to participate in key global forums, including the Africa-France Summit scheduled to hold in Kenya.
The summit, co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto, will focus on issues such as energy transition, climate action, digital transformation, and economic cooperation between African nations and France.
Following his engagements in Kenya, Tinubu will travel to Rwanda, where he is expected to attend the Africa CEO Forum, aimed at fostering investment opportunities and strengthening economic ties across the continent.
The three-country visit underscores Nigeria’s commitment to deepening diplomatic relations, attracting foreign investment, and advancing economic reforms through strategic international collaborations.
