Paris Saint-Germain have been ordered to pay Kylian Mbappe more than €60 million in unpaid wages and bonuses, following a ruling by the Paris Industrial Tribunal, though the French champions have declined to rule out a possible appeal.

The judgment, delivered on Tuesday, upheld Mbappe’s claim that he was denied three months’ salary and several bonuses during the final months of his contract at the club. Mbappe, now with Real Madrid, had pursued the case after a prolonged and acrimonious dispute with PSG following his departure.

While the ruling is immediately enforceable and PSG have confirmed they will comply, the club indicated that the legal process may not be concluded, reserving the right to challenge the decision at a higher court.

In a statement after the verdict, PSG said:
“Paris Saint-Germain acknowledges the judgment pronounced by the Conseil des Prud’hommes of Paris, which it will execute, while reserving the right to appeal. Paris Saint-Germain has always acted in good faith and with integrity, and will continue to do so. The Club now turns towards the future, based on unity and collective success, and wishes the player the best for the rest of his career.”

The ruling marks a major legal milestone in the high-profile fallout between the French champions and their former star, even as the possibility of further litigation remains.
