I therefore respectfully call on Governor Muhammad Umaru Bago to not only carry his aides and loyalists along but also to empower them meaningfully, especially those working day and night to ensure the success of his administration and the realization of his New Niger Project agenda. Empowered aides are more productive, innovative, and committed, forming the backbone of any successful administration.
Leadership is not only about policies and projects; it is also about human relationships, inclusion, and capacity-building. Those who work tirelessly behind the scenes deserve trust, support, and welfare. At the end of every tenure, it is these aides, loyalists, and associates who remember the encouragement, empowerment, and welfarism they enjoyed and who go on to protect and promote a leader’s legacy.
