French D1 Arkema giants Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old winger joins the Paris club after parting ways with Atletico Madrid in June, where she spent five successful years and lifted two major trophies — the Supercopa de España and Copa de la Reina.

Ajibade, who began her professional career in Norway with Avaldsnes IL, scored 12 goals in 39 appearances before moving to Spain. She now becomes the second Nigerian at PSG, joining midfielder Jennifer Echegini.

On the international stage, the former FC Robo Queens forward recently captained Nigeria to glory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she was also named Player of the Tournament.
