At least three players from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid will miss Wednesday night’s highly anticipated semi-final clash at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The affected players are Dean Huijsen of Real Madrid, and Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez of PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain will be without both Pacho and Hernandez, who received straight red cards during their semi-final victory over Bayern Munich. FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee confirmed on Tuesday that the duo has been handed two-match suspensions, effectively ruling them out for the remainder of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s Dean Huijsen has been given a one-match suspension after being sent off for a stoppage-time challenge on Serhou Guirassy in Madrid’s 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund. He will miss the semi-final but could return should his side reach the final.

The winner between Real Madrid and PSG will go on to face Chelsea in the tournament final.
