The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the results for the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2025–First Series.
In a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, WAEC informed candidates that they can now access their results via the council’s online portal. Candidates are required to use their examination details to check their scores.
The 2025 CB-WASSCE First Series was conducted earlier this year as part of WAEC’s transition to a fully digital examination system, aimed at improving efficiency and curbing malpractice. While the council has yet to release a detailed performance analysis, it assured candidates that the results were processed in line with global assessment standards.
WAEC advised candidates with concerns about their results to follow the stipulated procedures for verification and review.
