President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday evening received Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, his elder brother Dr. Deji Adeleke, and Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, at his private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Governor Adeleke shared details of the visit on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, noting that “alongside the scion of the Adeleke dynasty, my elder brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke, and my nephew, whom we are immensely proud of, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, we paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence ahead of the Sallah celebration.”
While the specifics of their closed-door conversation were not disclosed, the visit comes days after Davido met with President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, indicating sustained engagement between the Adeleke family and the presidency.
