Senator representing Niger North and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of his friend and political ally, Senator Ibrahim Musa, who passed away after a brief illness.

In an emotional tribute, Senator Bello described the late Musa as more than a colleague, calling him “a brother, a confidant, and a political ally whose wisdom, support, and enduring friendship played a vital role and remained an integral part of my political journey.”

“He was a man of remarkable character, deeply committed to the progress of our people and the development of Niger North and Nigeria as a whole. His contributions to our community and his service to the nation were significant and impactful. Senator Ibrahim Musa was a voice of reason, a man of conviction, and a pillar of strength whose presence will be deeply missed,” Bello said.

The Senator extended his heartfelt condolences to Musa’s immediate family, the people of Niger North, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) family, praying for Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus and give his loved ones the strength to bear the loss.

He urged all to honour the late lawmaker’s legacy by upholding the values he stood for — integrity, selfless service, and commitment to the common good — noting that “his memory will live on in the many lives he touched and the principles he defended until his last breath.”

Senator Ibrahim Musa, a lawyer by profession, was elected in 2011 to represent Niger North Senatorial District under the platform of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
