The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN), confirmed that Dangote Refinery has not yet transitioned to selling petroleum products in dollars, despite previous concerns.
PETROAN President Billy Gillis-Harry clarified that, although there had been discussions about a possible shift, the association had not received any formal notification regarding changes in fuel sales.
“As of yesterday, our members who purchased products are still buying in Naira,” Gillis-Harry stated.
“I don’t believe Dangote is seeking to create any panic in the system.” Gillis-Harry concluded.
