The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) commenced its Computer-Based Aptitude Test for recruitment on Saturday, with 45,689 applicants vying for positions within the organization.
The test is being conducted at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Centenary Resource Centre in Maitama, Abuja, and various other centres nationwide.
This marks the second phase of the company’s recruitment process, which began earlier this year.
The recruitment drive was first announced on July 25, 2024, inviting applications for positions across various departments of the energy giant. Interested candidates were directed to the NNPC careers page for detailed application instructions.
In an update shared via its official social media channels, NNPCL assured the public of a transparent and inclusive recruitment process.
The company emphasized its commitment to selecting only the most qualified candidates at the end of the exercise.
NNPCL Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, visited one of the testing centres to oversee the process. He reaffirmed the company’s dedication to maintaining fairness, transparency, and credibility throughout the recruitment stages.
Special provisions were also made to accommodate applicants with disabilities, ensuring equal opportunities for all participants.
This recruitment exercise is particularly significant as it represents one of the largest since NNPCL’s transition into a limited liability company in 2022.
The outcome is expected to shape the organization’s workforce, reflecting its commitment to excellence and inclusivity.
