The police further disclosed that the Schools Protection Squad platform is also accessible through the Police VGS application, providing an additional avenue for members of the public to report incidents.Emphasising the importance of collective action in safeguarding schools, the Force stated that school safety remains a shared responsibility among all stakeholders.
“Early reporting can help prevent danger and protect children,” the statement read.Reiterating its appeal for vigilance, the police urged Nigerians to take proactive steps in ensuring the security of schools by speaking up whenever they notice suspicious activities.”If you see something, say something,” the notice added.
