Victor Osimhen’s highly anticipated move to Turkish giants Galatasaray has hit another snag as Napoli introduce fresh conditions that could jeopardize the €75 million deal.
Although Galatasaray have agreed to meet the full asking price set by the Italian club, negotiations remain stalled due to disagreements over the payment structure and additional clauses.
According to multiple reports, the Turkish club proposed an initial payment of €40 million, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in installments. Napoli, however, rejected the offer, insisting on receiving the full €35 million balance by the end of 2026.
Adding further complexity, Napoli are now demanding a 20 percent cut from any future sale of the Nigerian striker. This clause, seen as excessive by Galatasaray officials, has become the latest stumbling block in concluding the deal.
Osimhen, who scored an impressive 37 goals and provided eight assists during a loan spell with Galatasaray last season, remains a top transfer target.
Despite pressure from Napoli to consider a move to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, the 25-year-old forward has continued to reject offers from the Saudi Pro League.
As the standoff continues, the uncertainty surrounding Osimhen’s future lingers, with pre-season preparations already underway.
The striker has submitted a medical exemption to delay his return to training, a move that signals his reluctance to rejoin the Serie A club under current circumstances.
