Manchester United’s Sporting Director, Dan Ashworth, left the club after only five months in the role, it was confirmed on Sunday.
Ashworth, who joined the club on July 1, 2024, played a key role in overseeing the club’s summer transfer spending, which totaled over £200 million, according to Sky Sports.
In a statement, the club said, “Dan Ashworth will be leaving his role as Sporting Director of Manchester United by mutual agreement.
We would like to thank Dan for his work and support during this transitional period for the club and wish him well for the future.”
