Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a goalless draw by Rwanda’s Amavubi in their African Cup of Nations qualifying match.
After a convincing 3-0 victory over Benin Republic on Saturday, Austin Eguavoen’s team struggled to break through, thwarted by both their own missed opportunities and the exceptional performance of the Rwandan goalkeeper.
The result leaves the Super Eagles with four points from their first two qualifying matches. More details to follow.
