Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has approved the nomination of six individuals for appointment as commissioners in the state.
The commissioner-nominees are Engr. Benjamin Osita Okoh, Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli, Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna, Dr. Samuel Ogbu-Nwobodo, Prof. George Ugwu, and Ben Collins Ndu Jr.
A statement issued on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, confirmed that the list of nominees has been transmitted to the Enugu State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
In a related development, Governor Mbah has appointed Dr. Godwin Anigbo as the new Head of Service for Enugu State.
According to the statement, “The appointment of Dr. Godwin Anigbo as Head of Service takes immediate effect.”
