Governor Malam Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of Babandi Saleh as Permanent Member II of the Jigawa State Civil Service Commission.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim.
According to the statement, the governor also endorsed the appointment of Ibrahim Adamu Fagam as Permanent Member III, while Muhammad Bare, who previously served as Permanent Member II, has been elevated to Permanent Member I of the Commission.
The SSG explained that the appointments of Saleh and Fagam followed their screening and confirmation by the Jigawa State House of Assembly during its sitting No. 031 held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 (24th Safar, 1447AH).
He further charged the appointees to discharge their responsibilities with diligence and in accordance with the rules guiding the Commission.
The statement noted that all the appointments take immediate effect.
