Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri, approved the appointment of seven new traditional rulers for the recently created chiefdoms and emirates in the state.
The new appointments, which take effect immediately, were announced in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonisikou, and shared with Channels Television on Friday.
Governor Fintiri congratulated the newly appointed rulers, emphasizing that their selection was based on merit and their widespread popularity among their communities.
He urged the new traditional leaders to perform their duties with fairness, honesty, and responsibility.
The newly appointed rulers and their respective domains are as follows:
HRH Sani Ahmadu Ribadu – Emir of Fufore, HRH Alheri Nyako – Tol Huba, HRH Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga – Mbemge Ka Michigan, HRH Ali Danburam – Phil Madagali, HRH Aggrey Ali – Kumu of Gombi, HRH Ahmadu Saibaru – Emir of Maiha and HRH John Dio – Gubo Yungur
