First Bank of Nigeria has clarified that its recent platform transition will not impact customer banking experiences, following misconceptions about a potential system upgrade. Addressing rumors circulating in the media, FirstBank emphasized that all banking operations are proceeding smoothly, with no disruptions to customer transactions or services.
The bank explained that the announcement was solely intended for its suppliers, as it transitions from its existing I-Supplier Platform to a new cloud-based Supplier Platform, designed to enhance vendor management.
“Rest assured, our commitment to seamless service delivery remains unwavering,” FirstBank’s management stated, encouraging customers to rely on official channels for accurate information.
