Christian Eriksen and Manchester United are expected to part ways at the conclusion of the current season.
According to a report on Fabrizio Romano’s X handle on Monday, there are no ongoing negotiations for a new contract for the Danish midfielder. Romano stated: “No negotiations taking place over a new deal, while Rúben Amorim’s opinion will also be considered, but Eriksen’s expected to leave.”
Eriksen, 32, signed a three-year deal with Manchester United in 2022 after joining as a free agent.
The midfielder recently represented Denmark in their 2-1 loss to Spain in the Nations League on Friday, a match played at home in Denmark.
