The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Bolaji Akinduro, the Executive Chairman of Total Grace Oil and Gas Investment Limited, wanted for alleged fraud.
According to a statement released on the EFCC’s official account on X (formerly Twitter), Akinduro is accused of obtaining money under false pretences and theft by conversion.
The statement read: “The public is hereby notified that Bolaji Henry Akinduro, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the EFCC in an alleged case of obtaining money under false pretences and stealing by conversion.”
Akinduro, 51, hails from Ondo State, and his last known address is 272 Patience Coker Street, Ajose Adeogun, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The EFCC urged anyone with information on Akinduro’s whereabouts to contact the commission at its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja. The public can also reach the EFCC through the phone number 08093322644, the email address info@efcc.gov.ng, or the nearest police station and other security agencies.
It is worth noting that in April 2001, Akinduro, along with his company His Grace Integrated Solution Limited and two others, was arraigned by the EFCC before Justice Funmilayo Akinlade of the Lagos High Court, Ikeja, on charges of forgery, theft, and conspiracy.
