Nigerian music star Davido has been named Best International Act at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards (LEA), adding another global accolade to his growing list of achievements.
The award was announced in April 2026 following the ceremony held on April 25 at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C. Davido emerged winner ahead of other nominees, including Tyla, Gunna, Rema, and Fridayy.
Established in 2009, the Liberian Entertainment Awards is an annual event that recognises the contributions of Liberian entertainers both within the country and across the diaspora. Over time, the platform has expanded to include categories covering music, film, fashion, and community service.
Held in the United States, the ceremony also features performances from a blend of established and emerging acts, in line with its mission to promote Liberian talent on the global stage.
Davido’s latest win underscores the growing global influence of Afrobeats and the sustained prominence of Nigerian artists on international award platforms.
