Falconets head coach Chris Danjuma has officially announced the 21-player squad that will represent Nigeria at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
The tournament, scheduled from August 31 to September 22, will see Nigeria compete in Group D alongside Germany, Venezuela, and South Korea.
The squad includes three goalkeepers, six defenders, five midfielders, and seven forwards, with Madrid CFF forward Opeyemi Ajakaye leading the lineup.
Notably, five players with previous Super Falcons experience—Jumoke Alani, Rofiat Imuran, Comfort Folorunsho, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, and Flourish Sabastine—have also been named to the team.
Nigeria’s campaign kicks off on September 1 with a match against South Korea at Estadio El Techo in Bogotá.
