Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has extended his heartfelt gratitude to the people of the state for their steadfast support and commitment to its growth and development.

In his Christmas message delivered through a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nsa Gill, the governor underscored the importance of love, unity, and kindness during the festive season.

He highlighted these values as crucial for addressing the challenges currently facing the nation.

Acknowledging the economic hardships affecting individuals and families across the country, the governor noted that these difficulties are not unique to Cross River State.

He assured residents that his administration is working in tandem with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda to foster economic recovery and progress.

Governor Otu expressed optimism that ongoing governmental policies will bring significant improvements in the coming year, particularly in 2025.

He emphasized that efforts are being made to lay the groundwork for an economic turnaround that would benefit both the state and the country.

Calling for a renewed spirit of giving, the governor encouraged residents to embrace the true meaning of Christmas by extending kindness and support to those in need.

He urged citizens to foster friendship and unity within their communities, reinforcing the values that define the state’s collective identity.

The governor also highlighted key achievements in the past year, including advancements in infrastructure, investment promotion, security, tourism, education, agriculture, and healthcare.

He attributed these successes to the collective dedication of the people and urged them to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in Cross River State.

As the festive season unfolds, Governor Otu extended his warm wishes to the people of Cross River and Nigeria, encouraging them to spread love and unity while working together for the continued development and prosperity of the state and nation.
