Covenant University Tops Nigeria in 2024 Times Higher Education Rankings

Covenant University (CU) has been ranked as Nigeria’s best university in the 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) World Rankings, sharing this position with the University of Ibadan (UI). Both institutions fell within the 801-1000 global ranking range.

The Times Higher Education World Rankings, a leading global university ranking system, evaluates 1,907 universities across 108 countries, based on 18 performance indicators. These indicators assess five key areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry collaboration, and international outlook.

Globally, the University of Oxford retains its top spot for the eighth consecutive year, followed by Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with shifts in the ranks of Harvard University and the University of Cambridge.
